Have any of you ever worked as a stripper or lapdancer?

I have a 19 yr old friend who thinks lapdancing would be an easy way to make money. She wants me to do it as well. I told her I don't need money that badly. I am concerned that she will get into something that she will find it hard to leave later on. I would be interested in hearing from other girls and women who have done this. How was the experience? Are you able to lead a normal life after you stop? Were you harrassed by customers? Are the owners of clubs all gangsters? Thanx
